Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Tradesperson (Mechanical) to join the Derbyshire DSFS estates mechanical team in Chesterfield. You will perform plumbing, heating and ventilation maintenance and assist with on-call duties, working to fixed targets and collaborating with building and electrical trades.

The role requires NVQ3 in Plumbing/Heating (or equivalent), experienced in heating and/or plumbing, and a commitment to health and safety standards.

Formación

• NVQ3 in Plumbing/Heating (or equivalent experience).
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Significant post qualification training in plumbing, heating, ventilation or medical gas.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out plumbing, heating and ventilation Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive work.
• Willing to undertake boiler house operator training.
• Willing to carry out work on the hospital’s hydrotherapy pool.
• Cross-discipline work with building and electrical trades including safe isolation and door/window fixes.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and HTMs.
• Supervise junior staff and deliver good customer service.
