Job summary

Stride is seeking an Electrical Engineer to be based on-site at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford. The role covers 7am–7pm day shifts and 7pm–7am night shifts on a 37.5-hour week, with overtime paid at enhanced rates. Immediate interviews and starts are available.

Qualifications

Must be fully qualified in Electrical with experience of Commercial / Hospital buildings.
Must be fully qualified electrician.
JIB Gold.
City and Guilds.
2391 testing inspection.
18th Edition.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
The ability to multi-task and be methodical.
A pro-active approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

To service and maintain building services plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards, frequencies, and safe working practices. To respond to reactive breakdowns, carry out fault finding and any necessary repairs.
Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance tasks.
To have a 'can do' approach to your work ethos.
Be able to work within a small maintenance team, consisting of an electrical or mechanical engineer and a semi-skilled engineer (plus a full day team of engineering and support staff)
