Job summary

Royal Voluntary Service at Worcester Royal Hospital is seeking a part-time Retail Customer Assistant. You will join a friendly team in hospital cafes, shops and trolleys, delivering excellent customer service and handling till duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or café environments is advantageous but training will be provided.
• Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy for everyday store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient service at all times.
• Welcomes customers, shares information on specials, takes orders and payments.
• Operate the till and reconcile cash.
• Keep areas clean and comply with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
• Replenish stock and assist with stock checks as needed.
