Royal Voluntary Service is seeking a part-time Retail Customer Assistant for Kingston Hospital. You will support cafes, shops and trolleys, delivering friendly service and maintaining store standards. The role involves cash handling, stock replenishment and working within NHS hospital settings.

In this position, you will join a friendly team, with shifts mainly Monday to Friday on a 21-hour rota. Training and progression opportunities are available as part of our volunteer-led hospital services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or cafe environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in person and over the till.
• Friendly, proactive customer service attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a busy retail setting.
• Flexible approach to working hours and shifts.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, helpful and efficient service at all times.
• Welcomes customers, informs about specials, takes orders and payments.
• Operate the till and cashing up.
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards across the site.
• Ensure stock and displays are replenished and shelves tidy.
