Ashtead Hospital is recruiting a Billing Administrator to join the Finance team. The role focuses on accurate and timely billing of patient activity, maximising revenue capture, processing cash receipts, and supporting the hospital's financial processes.

The post involves cross-service work, close collaboration with clinical and administrative teams, and a hybrid working pattern with three days in the office and the remainder remote after training.

Qualifications

• Previous billing, accounts administration, finance or healthcare administration experience.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Raise invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maximise revenue capture by correctly recording chargeable activity.
• Maintain accurate financial records and billing information.
• Respond promptly to information requests and documentation.
• Investigate and resolve billing queries from patients, insurers, and third parties.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to support efficient billing processes.
• Assist with month-end and financial reporting as required.
• Ensure compliance with Ramsay Health Care policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the billing function.
