Job summary

King Edward VII's Hospital is seeking a Billing Specialist to support the financial health of the hospital by ensuring accurate, timely billing and reimbursement for services. This on-site role (37.5 hours) offers up to £32,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will generate patient bills, submit insurance claims, handle billing queries with empathy, and help optimise revenue while complying with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical billing within hospital or healthcare settings.
• Strong understanding of billing processes including claims submission, coding and reimbursement.
• Experience using billing systems and electronic platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail with high data accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with patients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities
