Our client is looking for a full time ECC Veterinary Surgeon to join them at their flagship 24 hour hospital in Surrey. Based in the suburban neighbourhood of Surbiton, with the River Thames nearby and great restaurants and bars, this is truly a wonderful place to live. Dating back to the early 1890’s, records show that our client has not only followed the evolution of veterinary medicine but has also seen generations of the same families return time and time again to receive the very best in veterinary care.

Their state-of-the-art hospital has exceptional facilities including a full on-site laboratory capable of same-day PCR turn around, a CT scanner, a top of the range ultrasound machine, digital x-rays, endoscopy, dentistry and access to specialists in Cardiology and Diagnostic imaging who perform live guided scans in real time and specialists in ophthalmology and Neurology to provide live guided investigations.

Working as a collaborative team between the ECC and the hospital you will have case continuity and be part of the process throughout the patient’s treatment. Our client can also offer both Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy via an internal team of Hydro and Physiotherapists.

You will be joining a friendly, sociable team who like to get together both in and outside of work, whether this is for monthly team lunches, regular appreciation nights, events organised at a branch level or their practice wide Christmas party, there is always something to get involved in.

The Rota:
• Full time
• 1:4 weeks on nights
• ECC rota pattern: 7 days on (daytime shifts only) and 7 days off, followed by 7 nights on and then 7 days off

The Benefits:
• Salary of £40,000 up to £80,000 for an experienced surgeon/certificate holder - salaries are reviewed after 6 months
• Holidays increase each year worked, starting at 5.6 weeks a year for vets and reaching 7.6 weeks
• £4000 CPD allowance certificates funded and supported. Allowance can be used for personal and professional development
