Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice | Surrey / South West London

4-Day Week | No OOH | High Clinical Standards | CPD Support | Up to £65,000+ DOE

We’re working with a well-established independent small animal practice located on the Surrey/South West London border, known for delivering gold-standard veterinary care and maintaining an excellent work-life balance for their team.

This thriving practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team of 8 vets. With a 50/50 consulting and surgical rota, no out-of-hours, and a commitment to professional development, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress in a genuinely positive and well-equipped environment.

The Role:

• 4-day working week (full-time)
• Balanced rota: 50% consulting (9am–7pm) and 50% operating (8am–5pm)
• 1 in 4 Saturdays only (8am–5pm)
• No out-of-hours or on-call
• Diverse caseload including medicine, surgery, imaging, and dentistry
• Supportive environment with collaborative case discussions and mentorship

Equipment & Facilities:

• The practice is purpose-built and equipped to a high standard, including:
• Digital X-ray (including dental)
• Full laparoscopic and endoscopic kit (flexible scopes)
• Ultrasound
• Orthopaedic surgery capabilities
• Separate cat and dog facilities

• Comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eager to develop further – support for certificates available
• Passionate about high-quality clinical care
