Job summary

Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. You will serve customers, take drinks orders and assist with basic food preparation including sandwiches, salads and fresh cakes.

You will also help with clearing, washing utensils, loading the dishwasher, handling payments and ensuring kitchen hygiene is maintained. The successful candidate will bring excellent customer service and a flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a flexible approach.
• Experience in catering/front of house environment is desirable.
• Training will be provided for role-specific duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and take hot and cold drinks orders.
• Assist in basic food preparation (sandwiches, salads, cakes).
• Clear and wash utensils, load/unload dishwasher, and handle payments.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards.
