Job summary

Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes area invites applications for a Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. You will serve customers, take drinks orders, assist with basic food preparation including sandwiches, salads and cakes, and maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

The role requires excellent customer service, a flexible, can-do attitude, and experience in catering/front of house.food hygiene level 1 is desirable; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a can-do approach.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a catering/front of house environment.
• Experience in catering/front of house operations preferred.
• Food hygiene level 1 desirable; full training provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and take hot and cold drinks orders.
• Assist in basic food preparation (sandwiches, salads, cakes).
• Clear and wash kitchen utensils; operate dishwasher as needed.
• Take payments and ensure kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Provide a helpful, friendly service in a busy catering setting.
