Job summary

Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. You will serve customers, take orders for hot and cold drinks, assist with basic food preparation such as sandwiches, salads and fresh cakes. The role requires a friendly, flexible approach and experience in catering/front of house.

A food hygiene level 1 certificate is desirable, but full training will be provided. Willen Hospice offers generous benefits including 35 days leave, pension, and staff

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a can-do and flexible approach.
• Experience of working in a catering/front of house environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers taking hot and cold drinks orders.
• Assist in basic food preparation (sandwiches, salads, fresh cakes).
• Clear and wash kitchen utensils; load and unload dishwasher.
• Take payment for food and ensure kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
