Job summary

Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. You will serve customers with hot and cold drinks, assist in basic food preparation and handle payments while helping maintain high kitchen hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a flexible, can-do approach. Experience in catering or front-of-house is preferred, with food hygiene level 1 desirable (training provided).

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering or front-of-house environment preferred.
• Food hygiene level 1 would be desirable, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with hot and cold drinks and basic food items.
• Assist with food preparation such as sandwiches, salads and cakes.
• Clear and wash utensils, load/unload dishwasher, and handle payments.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness to high standards.
