We are seeking a skilled and proactive Joiner to deliver a high quality property maintenance service for our customers. You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a professional standard and fully comply with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
  • Deliver a range of duties connected with the repair and maintenance of Cairn Housing Association's properties to provide effective and efficient service to our customers.
  • Provide first-line advice to internal and external customers and partner agencies to ensure a consistent service.
  • Maintain vehicles and all provided equipment to a high standard in line with company policies to promote the company image.
  • Undertake administrative duties as required to support the processes within the department and provide necessary auditing.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on relevant policies and procedures such as tenant alterations or other repairs and maintenance issues, to ensure a consistent service.
Requirements – What We’re Looking For
  • NVQ level 2 or other recognised apprenticeship with 3-4 years’ experience in property maintenance services.
  • CSCS accreditation, SVQ / C&G Level 3 Site Carpentry or NVQ / C&G Level 1 in Construction Skills would be desirable, however it is not mandatory.
  • General IT literacy and a basic understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • A driver’s licence, level 1 disclosure check and right-to-work verification are all mandatory for this role.
