ClwydAlyn is seeking a Homeless Support Officer to join our Supported Living team in Conwy. You will help residents live as independently as possible, tailoring support to individual needs and goals while building confidence and practical life skills.
You will work with partner agencies to facilitate education, employment and community opportunities, maintain accurate records and promote safeguarding. This role offers meaningful daily impact within a compassionate housing charity.

In this rewarding role, you'll support individuals to live independently, develop life skills, achieve personal goals and play an active role in their communities.
As a Homeless Support Officer, you'll work alongside individuals to help them live as independently as possible, providing tailored support based on their individual needs, goals and aspirations.
Using a person-centred approach, you'll support people to develop confidence, build practical life skills and access opportunities that enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.
One day you might be supporting someone with budgeting, cooking or managing their tenancy, while the next you could be helping them access education, employment, healthcare or community activities. Every day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful difference.

You will be compassionate, trustworthy and resilient, with a positive attitude and a commitment to supporting people to live the life they choose. You'll understand the importance of promoting independence, encouraging choice and empowering people to achieve their goals.
You will be someone who:
You’ll ideally have experience supporting vulnerable adults within homelessness, housing, mental health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, social care or similar support settings.
