Job summary
Specsavers Home Visits Stoke are seeking an experienced Optical/Retail Assistant to join our domiciliary team. You will visit patients at home, deliver high-quality optical care and help with frame selection, in a small, supportive team.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm with weekends off; you must have a full UK driving licence and live in WS11 or ST areas. Salary starts at £26,853 per annum with progression opportunities and a company car or allowance.
Qualifications
- Experience in optics OR a strong retail/customer service background.
- A passion for helping people and delivering exceptional service.
- Great communication and relationship-building skills.
- A positive, team-focused attitude.
- Due to the needs of our business, we are keen to speak with candidates who live in WS11 or ST postcode areas.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Supporting patients through their eye care journey in their own homes
- Delivering excellent customer service and compassionate care
- Assisting with frame selection and dispensing (training provided)
- Travelling across Stoke, Crewe, Stafford and surrounding areas
- Working closely with a small, supportive team
