Job summary

Specsavers Home Visits Stoke is seeking an experienced Optical/Retail Assistant to join our domiciliary team. You will visit patients at home, support high-quality optical service delivery, and provide outstanding customer service in a small, collaborative team.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30–5:30), 40 hours weekly, with a starting salary of £26,853 per year, a company car or £3,000 car allowance, and a generous bonus scheme. Driving is essential for travel across the area.

Qualifications

• Experience in optics or strong retail/customer service background.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Positive, team-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Preference for candidates living in WS11 or ST postcode areas.

Responsibilities

• Support patients through their eye care journey in their own homes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and compassionate care.
• Assist with frame selection and dispensing (training provided).
• Work closely with a small, supportive team.
• Travel across Stoke, Crewe, Stafford and surrounding areas.
