Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to take optical services to patients at their homes across the Essex region. You will dispense lenses and provide eye care in community settings, bringing clinical care to the doorstep and supporting patients who cannot visit stores.

The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule (3 days per week, 9am-6pm). A full UK driving licence is essential, and you will be part of a supportive team with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current or recent optical experience (6 months–1 year) and able to dispense at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense lenses at all levels.
• Deliver eye care and clinical services during home visits.
• Travel across the Essex region to provide home-based eye care.
