Job summary

Specsavers is seeking an Home Visits Optical Assistant to deliver eye care at customers' doors across the North East of England. You will travel to domiciliary appointments, dispense as needed, and provide clinical care in community settings.

The role requires optical experience (6 months to 1 year min) and a full UK driving licence. A company car or car allowance is provided, and there is a bonus opportunity on top of salary.

• Previous optical experience (minimum 6 months-1 year).
• Must be able to confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit.

Responsibilities

• Providing eye care to people in their homes as part of domiciliary visits.
• Dispense at all levels, measure and fit during visits.

Role: Home Visits (Domiciliary) Optical Assistant

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a home visits optical assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that.

You'll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren't able to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you'll also be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

We can only consider candidates who have current or recent optical experience and who hold a full UK driving licence for this role and ideally you will live in the Darlington, Stockton or Middlesborough area.

• Salary: £26,852 per annum + bonus
• Full time: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm (flexibility required) - NO weekend or Bank Holiday working will be required offering a great work/life balance

What we're looking for?

• Previous optical experience (minimum 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit
• Must have a full UK driving licence and be a confident driver
