Job summary

Specsavers in North Wales is looking for a Home Visits Optical Assistant to bring essential eye care to patients at home. You’ll visit diverse locations, dispense lenses at all levels and support customers with eye health in their communities.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, a proactive approach and good teamwork. Benefits include a company car or car allowance, pension, and access to Specsavers Perks.

Are you ready to take your skills on the road? As a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that.

You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing essential eye care to the people who are unable to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll also be bringing smiles and clinical care into the heart of your community.

The job is varied: you’ll work in a range of locations and testing environments every day – no two days are the same. Our region covers North Wales, and while we will always aim to keep you as close to home as possible, there may be times you will have to cover anywhere within our territory.

We can only consider candidates who hold a full UK driving licence and can confidently dispense lenses at all levels for this role.

What we’re looking for?

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Home Visits Optical Assistant.These include:

• Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels
• You must hold a full UK driving licence
