Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Birmingham to service, maintain and repair vehicles at customer locations, including EVs. The role is permanent and full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am–5pm with 1 Saturday per month.

Overtime paid at £30/h; base salary £40,178 with OTE in excess of £52,000. Benefits include optional overtime up to £5,000/year, a productivity/quality bonus up to £6,000/year, 31–33 days holiday, pension matching up to 6.5%, life

Qualificações

• Minimum Level 2 (ideally Level 3) in light vehicle maintenance and repair (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles (workshop or mobile)
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)

Responsabilidades

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations (driveways, car parks, etc.) including EVs
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections
• Diagnose and repair issues using diagnostic tools and software
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers and handle payments
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used
