Job summary

Hanover Housing Association Ltd invites applications for a part-time Home Support Worker at Chandlers Court in Elgin. The role is 20 hours per week across 3 days, with weekend and public holiday work to support residents living independently with dignified care.

You will join a team, adhere to regulatory requirements, and obtain PVG clearance before starting. The role offers a starting salary of £13,994 during probation rising to £14,730 after successful probation.

• Experience in adult care or housing with care setting preferred.
• PVG check required prior to joining.
• Ability to work flexibly including weekends/public holidays.
• Basic level of digital skills and literacy.

Our Chandlers Court Housing with Care development in Elgin provides enhanced care provision to adults living with varying needs. This includes physical disability, learning disabilities, older adults and vulnerable adults. Our residents live in their own homes, and our team is at the forefront of helping to support residents to live as independently as they are able with services adapted to individual care and support plans.

This post is offering 20 hours per week over 3 days and includes working weekends and public holidays, so we are looking for the successful candidate to show flexibility to support the needs of the people we support.

You will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered flexibly and in a dignified, safe and stimulating way and in full compliance with both statutory and regulatory requirements.
