Job summary

Compass Associates are recruiting a Registered Home Manager for an elderly nursing home in Southeast London. The role requires clinical leadership to manage complex resident needs, including dementia and mental health, while building relationships with commissioners and NHS services.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive occupancy, and ensure high standards of care within a compliant governance framework.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience of a nursing or residential care home.
• Strong knowledge of dementia, complex care and/or mental health needs.
• Experience managing referrals, admissions and occupancy.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and clinical governance.
• Experience collaborating with NHS services, local authorities and commissioners.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership across the service and drive performance.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure safe, effective, person-centred care is delivered.
• Manage referrals, admissions and occupancy while building external relationships.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, clinical governance and safeguarding.
