Job summary

Achieve together is seeking an experienced Care/Service Manager to oversee daily operations of our care home in Wirral, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes person-centred service delivery, effective staff leadership, and strong stakeholder communication.

The successful candidate will lead a team, manage finances and drive quality assurance to continually improve outcomes for those we support.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in health and social care.
• Proven experience as a Care/Service/Deputy or Registered Manager.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have Level 5 or be willing to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the home to ensure high care standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC/CIW standards.
• Maintain high-quality service delivery and effective stakeholder communication.
• Lead and develop staff to deliver person-centred, accessible and reliable care.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the service meets the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC/CIW Fundamental Standards
• Maintain high-quality service delivery
• Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders
• Ensure service delivery is person-centered, accessible, flexible, and reliable
• Effectively manage the staff team
• Implement and maintain service delivery to meet Quality Assurance policy standards
• Carry out administrative tasks related to the role
• Oversee finances and budgeting
• Train and develop staff

Requirements:

• Ability to lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks, and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
• Proven experience as a Care Manager/Service Manager/Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must either have a level 5 or willing to complete this
