Career Makers are partnering with a well-established care provider to recruit an experienced Home Manager for a small nursing home in Ware, Hertfordshire. The role leads daily operations, ensuring person-centred care and strong senior support.

You will oversee staff supervision, care planning, quality audits and regulatory compliance, with ongoing development opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous Home Manager experience within a nursing or care home setting.
• Active NMC Pin preferred.
• Relevant management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation.
• Lead, support and develop the staff team through supervision, training and performance management.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, audits and continuous quality improvement.
