Job summary

Health Recruit Network is recruiting a Home Manager for a residential care home in Bangor. You will lead the home, drive occupancy, manage finances, and develop a high-performing team to deliver safe, person-centered care.

As a Registered Nurse with an NMC PIN, you will ensure compliance with RQIA standards, oversee quality and safeguarding, and work with residents, families, and stakeholders to support strategic development with the Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN is essential.
• Proven leadership experience in home management or senior care.
• Strong knowledge of RQIA regulations and National Minimum Standards.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home
• Drive occupancy growth, fee rate development, and financial performance
• Lead, recruit, and develop a motivated and high-performing team
• Ensure full compliance with RQIA regulations, health and safety, and care standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
• Represent the home as Registered Manager within the local community
• Oversee care quality, safeguarding, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to business planning and strategic development alongside the Regional Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum

Hours: Full-Time

The Role

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with valid NMC PIN — essential
• Proven experience as a Home Manager or senior care leader
• Strong knowledge of RQIA regulatory requirements and National Minimum Standards
• Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and driving occupancy
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Evidence of up-to-date CPD
• Registered Manager's Award (desirable)
