Job summary

B&Q Limited in Harlow is seeking a Customer Advisor for a Part Time role (20 hours per week) on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be the friendly face helping customers, advising on home improvement projects, and supporting stock control and displays to keep the store inviting.

Shifts are Monday to Sunday, 6.00am–9.00pm, with training in paint-mixing and timber cutting, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and great service.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and outgoing and enjoy helping customers.
• Willing to learn and expand skills in home improvement.
• Able to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Strong team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Sell and advise customers on products and projects.
• Help manage stock and set up in-store displays.
• Ensure the store environment looks inviting and well presented.
• Participate in paint-mixing and timber-cutting training as needed.
