Job summary

B&Q Whitstable is hiring a part-time Customer Advisor on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You’ll work 15, 18, or 30 hours weekly with shifts across a 7.00am–10.00pm window, contributing to stock, displays, and a welcoming store environment.

You’ll be trained in paint-mixing and timber-cutting while delivering outstanding customer service and supporting customers’ home improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing person with a buzz for helping others.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technology and ways of working.
• Strong team player with the ability to work on a rota including weekends/evenings/bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers and handle inquiries.
• Assist with stock management and setting up displays to maintain a great store appearance.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber-cutting as part of training; deliver excellent customer service.
