Job summary

B&Q Loughborough is looking for a Customer Advisor to help customers with home improvement ideas and projects, while keeping stock and displays in great order. You’ll be a friendly guide and part of a team that makes the store look inviting and easy to shop.

You’ll join on a permanent part-time contract, working 28.75 hours per week across shifts from Monday to Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm. Training may include paint-mixing and timber-cutting, with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to help customers.
• Willing to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Able to expand skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with home improvement projects and provide advice.
• Help manage stock and ensure displays are up-to-date.
• Make sure store looks presentable and welcoming to shoppers.
