Job summary

B&Q Erdington is seeking a Customer Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). You’ll be the friendly face guiding customers, helping with home improvement questions, and supporting stock display and store presentation.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 10:00pm, with a competitive notional hourly rate of £13.10 per hour. This role is based in Birmingham, UK, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; enjoys helping others and works well in a team.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technology and ways of working.
• Flexible to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert advisor, guiding customers and understanding their home improvement projects.
• Handle sales, manage stock, set up displays and keep the store looking great.
• Opportunity to train in paint-mixing and cutting timber; great customer service is key.
