Job summary

B&Q Bognor Regis is hiring a Customer Advisor for a part-time, fixed-term role. You will assist customers, help with home improvement projects, manage stock, set up displays, and maintain a welcoming store environment. Evening and weekend availability required, shifts 7:00am–10:00pm.

The position runs for 3 months with an hourly rate of £13.10. Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting may be provided, but great customer service is central to the role.

Qualifications

• Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement.
• Friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others.
• Flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great.
• You'll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.
