Job summary

Currys is seeking a First Line Manager for our Home Delivery Site in the UK. You will coach and motivate a multi-disciplinary team of delivery drivers, warehouse staff and support colleagues to meet targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will identify improvements, communicate across departments, and deputise for the Operations Manager while maintaining a safe, efficient operation and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Recent leadership experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of developing teams to achieve results.
• Strong organisational skills to plan workloads and deliver targets.
• Excellent communication across departments.
• IT skills with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the running of the site, staffing and other resources.
• Motivating a team of delivery drivers, warehouse teams and support colleagues to deliver on targets.
• Providing regular and consistent performance feedback.
• Working closely with other internal/external departments to ensure smooth-running operation.
• Communicating with and deputising for Operations Manager, working cross functionally and supporting different work area teams as required.
• Proactively identifying opportunities for change, process improvement or engagement.
• Creating a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety policies.
