Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers’ homes across the region. You will be the friendly face at their door, delivering with care and providing great service with a smile. The role is physically active, with independent workdays and support from managers back at base when needed.

Typical shifts begin early mornings and evenings, with a guaranteed minimum weekly hours. You will drive a van, load goods, and handle customer interactions while ensuring accuracy

Qualifications

• Hold a UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months.
• No more than 3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs on the road and in-store.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised for each delivery.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions clearly and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care and deliver within the customer’s time slot with a friendly, professional manner.
