Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers' homes with a friendly, helpful attitude. You’ll drive, load and unload, and ensure orders arrive in good condition. The role emphasizes flexible working, strong customer service, and safe driving on a varied daily route.

Expect interactions with customers and a supportive team backing you up at base. This is a hands‑on, shift‑based role with a minimum 16 hours per week and potential for additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with a smile and friendly manner.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Strong focus on reliability, safety, and accuracy when handling orders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers’ homes within scheduled time slots.
• Load the van, keep it tidy and roadworthy, and check products before delivery.
• Explain order changes or substitutions and process refunds when needed.
• Treat products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Build good relationships with customers and colleagues for great service.
• Adapt to changing needs and schedules while out on the road.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with <=3 penalty points.
