Job summary

Tesco is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to deliver groceries to customers’ homes across the United Kingdom. The role is hands‑on, physical and varied, with independent work and support from a base team.

You will maintain and load the van, ensure orders are accurate, communicate substitutions or changes to customers, and provide a warm, reliable doorstep service. This is a physically active, customer‑facing role with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for 12+ months with few penalty points.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently on the road.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean and organised for quality delivery.
• Load van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes to customers and process refunds as needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain order quality.
• Deliver within time slot and provide warm doorstep service.
