Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes. You’ll help with deliveries, provide friendly service, and keep the van organized and safe on the road.

Role focuses on delivering in customers’ chosen time slots, handling substitutions or refunds when needed, and maintaining a positive, helpful presence on every doorstep. Flexibility for hours and locations is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Ability to provide warm, natural service at the doorstep.
• Flexibility for shifts and locations across Tesco network.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers during their time slot and ensure correct items.
• Load the van safely and keep it clean and organised.
• Handle order changes and refunds to keep the experience smooth.
• Build rapport with customers and colleagues to boost service quality.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure roadworthiness of the van.
