Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in the United Kingdom. You will meet customers in their homes, deliver groceries with a friendly, smiling service, and work independently most of the day with support back at base.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. A minimum weekly hours guarantee of 16 hours is offered, with some locations offering 12-hour roles. Tesco offers a range of benefits and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, reassuring manner.
• Able to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organized to ensure orders are delivered in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
• Explain order changes to customers clearly and process refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products carefully to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer's time slot and provide warm, personal service at the doorstep.
