Prestige Nursing & Care Northampton is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support clients across Northamptonshire, Bedford and Milton Keynes on a zero-hour basis. The role involves helping with personal care, medication prompts, nutrition, daily living activities, and companionship.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of care experience in the UK, a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and flexibility to cover mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Hours / shifts – Zero Hour
Hourly Pay – £13.40 per hour

What our clients are looking for

Zero-Hour Home Care Assistants wanted to join our existing team and assist us to grow in Northampton, Bedford and Milton Keynes. Must have at least 6 months of paid experience working in care in the UK and a Full UK driving license, with access to your own car.

Your role as a Professional Care colleague will include:

• Supporting with personal care tasks
• Prompting and administering medication
• Preparing & Encouraging Fluids & Nutrition
• Assisting with activities of daily living & social outings
• Companionship & Emotional Support
• Light Domestic Duties & Shopping Trips
• Maintaining and updating care records
• Live-in-care (if required)

Minimum requirements for Professional Care colleague:

• Previous experience in a care role -minimum of 6 months experience
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings and at least every-other weekend is essential
• Excellent communication skills
• A full UK driver’s license & Business Insurance
• Access to your own vehicle.
