Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Northampton is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support clients across Northamptonshire, Bedford and Milton Keynes on a zero-hour basis. The role involves helping with personal care, medication prompts, nutrition, daily living activities, and companionship.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of care experience in the UK, a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and flexibility to cover mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings and at least every-other weekend.
• Access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving license is required.
• Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care tasks.
• Prompt and administer medication as required.
• Encourage fluids and nutrition.
• Assist with activities of daily living and social outings.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Light domestic duties and shopping trips.
• Maintain and update care records.
• Live-in-care support if required.
