Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You will start and finish from home, serving a local Oxford cluster and surrounding areas with roadside diagnostics and repairs. You’ll navigate faults, tyre issues, batteries and more with a provided RAC van, diagnostic kit, and uniform.

You’ll be supported by a long‑standing, member‑focussed organisation across the UK. We expect Level 2 light vehicle maintenance and at least two years’ experience, plus a customer‑facing mindset and a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience in technical, electrical and diagnostic work.
• Customer-focused approach and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
• Start and finish days from home and cover local areas within the UK.
