Job summary

Enterprise Security Systems in the UK is seeking a Revit / CAD Technician to support the design of complex physical security solutions across high security, public space, transport and infrastructure projects. The role is home-based with a £35,000–£39,000 basic salary, dependent on experience.

You will use AutoCAD, Revit and BIM to produce 2D/3D drawings, model system architecture, and manage BIM levels 2 for security installations across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Strong AutoCAD and Revit experience
• BIM Level 2 knowledge
• Understanding of engineering design principles
• Experience producing detailed technical drawings and models
• Some understanding of Electronic Security Systems
• Experience within CCTV, Access Control, integrated security, electrical installations or construction would be valuable, though CAD/Revit capability is key

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings for physical security systems
• Create layouts, schematics, plans, elevations and technical details
• Model system architecture using Revit MEP
• Generate and manage BIM models and object libraries to Level 2
• Produce CCTV field of view visualisations
• Collaborate with Security Solutions Architects, Technical Designers and Project Delivery teams
• Update red line drawings to final as-installed documentation
• Review drawings with clients and incorporate design changes
• Manage drawing registers, document control and customer transmittals
• Occasionally attend sites to survey and gather design information
