Job summary

Chiltern Park Recruitment is helping a global automation leader recruit a Technical Sales Consultant. This home-based role covers North Wales and parts of the North of England, with regular travel across HD, SK and HX postcodes.

You will manage a full sales cycle, build lasting customer relationships and identify new business opportunities while enjoying the autonomy of a field-based role. The role offers extensive product and sales training, with clear opportunities for long-term career

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Technical Sales in manufacturing/automation.
• Engineering or technical qualification (HND, Degree or equivalent) preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to order.
• Develop and manage an established sales territory.
• Build relationships with existing customers and generate new business opportunities.
• Provide technically focused solutions and advice to customers.
• Work with distributors and manufacturers to drive growth.
• Maintain accurate sales activity in the CRM system.
• Aim to achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
