Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to cover the Northeast region of the UK from a home-based base. You will manage key accounts and develop new business, travelling to clients across industrial sectors.

A mechanical engineering background is essential, with a strong track record in business-to-business sales. The role includes 70% account management and 30% new business, with earnings potential exceeding £75,000 on target.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate has external sales experience in mechanical seals, rotating equipment, pumps or valves.
• Mechanical engineering background is essential.
• Industrial sales professional with a solid grasp of mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical seals is highly beneficial.
• Understand pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors and seals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Northeast UK sales region, reporting to the UK Sales Manager.
• Own account management and new client acquisition responsibilities.
