Job summary

Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead growth across London West, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. You will manage distribution partners and contractors, promoting British Gypsum and Isover products, and drive share through targeted plans.

This home-based role involves regular travel within the London West region and requires a proactive, customer-focused salesperson with a track record in construction or building materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, ideally in construction, building materials or distribution.
• Strong commercial acumen including negotiation and margin management.
• Proactive, able to identify opportunities and ask the right questions.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels in distribution and contractor organisations.
• Confident tracking live projects and pipeline opportunities to influence specification and supply.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities across a regional customer base.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage, service and grow opportunities across regional distribution and contractor base.
• Track live construction projects within the region and influence specification and supply.
• Support and negotiate commercial agreements in line with regional and national strategies.
• Regularly visit distribution partners and contractors to build and grow long-term partnerships.
• Act as the key contact between distribution clients, contractors, internal sales teams and stakeholders.
• Drive market share, product mix and visibility of British Gypsum and Isover within the region.
