Job summary

Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead growth across London West, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. You will manage distribution partners and contractors, promoting British Gypsum and Isover products, and drive share through targeted plans.

This home-based role involves regular travel within the London West region and requires a proactive, customer-focused salesperson with a track record in construction or building materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, ideally in construction, building materials or distribution.
• Strong commercial acumen including negotiation and margin management.
• Proactive, able to identify opportunities and ask the right questions.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels in distribution and contractor organisations.
• Confident tracking live projects and pipeline opportunities to influence specification and supply.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities across a regional customer base.

At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our commercial sales team, working with a distribution and contractor customer base across London West, including Hertfordshire, South Buckinghamshire, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, and West and Central London, selling our British Gypsum and Isover products.

You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with national and independent distribution partners and contractors within an agreed sales region, implementing a profitable and targeted sales plan to improve market share, product mix and commercial performance.

You'll be a practiced salesperson with a strong distribution and contractor mindset, highly customer-focused and experienced in selling construction products or solutions through distribution channels, with the ability to track projects from specification through to completion.

This is a home-based role, with regular travel required to cover the London West region.

What we're looking for:
