Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the customer base across Northern Ireland. The role is home-based and covers NI, with a salary of £50,000 base plus a 15% target bonus and a company car or car allowance.

The candidate will develop new B2B business while managing and expanding existing accounts, visiting customers three days a week and dedicating remaining time to administration and territory planning. Full training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial products.
• Fastener industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Comfortable balancing account management with new business development.
• Strong commercial awareness, resilience and relationship-building skills.
• Able to work autonomously in a home-based, field sales position.
• Based in Northern Ireland with the flexibility to cover the territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new B2B customers
• Develop existing accounts and increase customer spend
• Conduct regular customer meetings and quarterly business reviews
• Identify and progress new commercial opportunities
• Build stronger links between customers, Internal Sales and Customer Service
• Independently manage territory planning and customer visits
