Job summary

Energis Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a manufacturing client in County Down is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth across Northern Ireland and the Dublin region. You will manage existing relationships and identify new business opportunities.

The role requires a technical sales background, a proactive approach, and willingness to travel. A full UK driving licence is essential. Salary £40,000–£45,000 plus a company car, commission and benefits.

Qualifications

Two years experience in a technical sales role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or food industry.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proven track record of developing customer relationships and delivering sales growth.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth by understanding customers' technical requirements and providing tailored solutions.
Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Procurement teams to meet customer requirements.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for product development.
Provide technical advice and product support to customers and internal colleagues.
