Job summary

SimWest Engineering Recruitment seeks an Installation Supervisor for international food machinery projects. This home-based role covers UK-wide travel and international sites, combining hands-on installation work with leading installation teams.

You will read engineering drawings, supervise engineers and contractors, and ensure safety and quality. The package includes a circa £50,000 basic salary with overtime, pension, private healthcare and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical installation within food processing machinery or packaging machinery.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide and internationally.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Hands-on mechanical installation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate internal engineers and external contractors.
• Carry out hands-on mechanical installation work on customer sites.
• Lead installation activities with safety procedures and project requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering, assembly and layout drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical and other engineering teams during installation.
• Identify and resolve site-based issues and ensure timeliness and quality.
