Job summary

WES, part of the RSE Group, is seeking a Mechanical Installation Supervisor to oversee on-site manpower, coordinate material orders and manage on-site works within the water industry.

Role involves travel and working away from home with accommodation provided. Requires NVQ/Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or pipefitting, plastics installation experience, SSSTS and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical installation experience, preferably with plastics.
• Strong safety, quality and environmental awareness.
• Able to lead and motivate trades and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical equipment including kiosks and pipework.
• Inspect equipment and identify faulty components.
• Test and pre-commission equipment on site.
• Direct and allocate work to trades and apprentices.
• Deliver toolbox talks and review RAMS and permits.
• Oversee on-site works to meet timescales and standards.
• Provide progress reports and future resource needs to Installation Manager.
