Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Energy Projects Development Manager to lead the development and delivery of decarbonised energy solutions for large energy users. You will coordinate across Business Development, Technical Direction and Supply Chain to win high‑quality work and set project delivery up for success.

This home‑based role offers around £55,000 per year plus annual bonus, a company car or allowance, and a pension.

Qualifications

• Essential project management skills and experience, ideally in the energy sector.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and in all forms.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities with changing priorities.
• Experience of various decarbonisation solutions/technologies would be an advantage.
• Desirable degree level qualification and professional membership.
• Flexibility to travel to varying project locations.
• Experience of business development to ensure customer focus is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Energy project development: lead development and delivery of decarbonised energy solutions for large energy users; win high-quality work and set project delivery up for success.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with Business Development, Technical Direction, Supply Chain, cost estimating and scheduling specialists; lead on the project execution plan and contribute to proposals.
• Customer engagement: talk directly with customers to understand needs, evolve solutions, and present final proposals.
• Complex opportunities and supply chain: handle interlinked techno-economic models and third-party funding; partner with supply chain to deliver solutions.
• Governance and delivery link: present work through project governance and support smooth handovers between phases.
