Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Estimator to lead cost estimation activities for the Energy Projects Development Team. This home-based role requires UK travel when needed and offers a generous package including a company car or car allowance and a competitive bonus.

You will standardize estimating processes, present clear cost estimates, and collaborate with commercial or delivery teams to support project delivery and risk management. A strong background in energy or infrastructure estimation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven senior cost estimating experience in energy, infrastructure or project delivery environments.
• Ability to select appropriate estimating methods for different project stages.
• Experience producing, reviewing and presenting detailed cost estimates with contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead all cost estimation activities for the Energy Projects Development Team.
• Act as subject matter expert for cost estimating across the Projects Delivery Team.
• Develop, formalise and standardise cost-estimating processes and tools.
• Plan, prepare and review estimates with appropriate oversight.
• Present clear estimates with key assumptions, risks and contingency levels.
